As a pioneer of the asset class, Coller is one of the world’s leading investors in the secondary market for private assets, with a 35 year plus track record of innovation, scale, and consistent performance across market cycles. Since we opened our doors in 1990, we have helped industrialise the secondaries industry into the mainstream asset class it is today.
Over the years we have been responsible for many of the innovations that have shaped our industry and this pioneering spirit continues to shape the culture of our business. We completed our first GP-led investment in 1996 and since then have invested almost $25 billion in over 160+ transactions.
Our pioneering spirit has also extended into credit and new geographies. We have been investing in credit across market cycles since 2008, and in 2021 closed our first flagship Credit fund. To meet growing demand from investors in China, we launched Coller Capital Secondaries RMB I, our RMB-denominated private equity secondaries fund, in 2022.

Private equity secondaries
Coller EQT is a specialist investor in the secondary markets for private assets. We have raised nine Coller International Partners funds (CIP I-IX) which invest across the full spectrum of private equity’s secondary market.
Private credit secondaries
The secondary market for private credit is a natural evolution of primary credit markets. Coller Credit Opportunities I (CCO I), was the world’s largest secondary fund of its time for private credit and its successor CCO II invests across a range of private credit strategies. For private wealth investors, the firm offers evergreen credit funds that offers access to the same private credit secondaries strategy, structured for broader eligibility.
